Search engines like Google are constantly improving the algorithms used to ignore and demote blatant attempts of Key Word Stuffing or SPAM to get ranking over competitors sites. As a result, harnessing the power of tags to boost SEO immerged as a new powerful tactic.

Tags are essentially keywords relevant to each page/article you create. Tags are intended to be descriptive words or short two or three word phrases. Adding tags that accurately represent a post or page will increase the chance that it will get relevant targeted traffic. Purposefully targeting tags with the relevant popular trends on Google and using appropriate keywords for your subject will drive an immense amount of traffic despite the competition. Within a few days of being indexed by search engines, the searches will be getting ranked high enough to get traffic because of the tags associated with the search query.
